I'm sure most of you guys have heard about the Toonami "April Fools Joke" last month. Well really, it was more of a test run. And they heard us when we cried out for more.
TOONAMI IS ON RIGHT NOW (Bleach is on at the moment)!!

Guys, this is serious. If we want Toonami back, it NEEDS funding!! It can't get funding if it doesn't get ratings!!
Even if you just have it playing the background, heck, even if you just turn it on and mute it, TURN IT ON!! Turn it on and support the return of Toonami!!

Now I have some anime to watch!! Hope you have fun guys!!

(Quick warning though guys: I'm sure some of you won't mind, but Toonami is now airing on Adult Swim, so there are some shows not suitable for children (or just people like me that aren't interested). If you don't like them, turn them off like I am, but turn the TV back on for the good stuff like Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop later!!)

Hmmm, what to say about me...

Well, I'm a girl with a passion for cartoons. I'd love to work for an animation or video game company like Pixar or Sega or maybe make my own comic book series on the side. But I'm thinking about trying to find a different calling for now, because I don't think I'd enjoy the professional art world. Too many people tearing you down. And when you do get a job you have to draw what your boss wants, when they want, how they want, and finish it when they want.
I prefer to draw my own way.

I'm legally an adult, but I feel more like a kid than anything.
And since I love cartoons so much, I figure that's a good thing. I go to see children's movies in the theaters and get to call it "research". XD

I'm habitually obsessive. Professional fangirl, as I like to put it.
I love tons of series including (but certainly not limited to) ThunderCats (2011), Sonic the Hedgehog, Batman, Star Wars, Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, X-Men, Pokemon, Invader Zim, Batman, 9, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, Spyro, Naruto, Batman, and MANY others.

And my favorite part? Making a fan character for myself every time I get a new interest!!

Eh, not sure exactly what you mean, but I do think it'd be kinda weird having a ThunderCat named something totally ordinary and human. If they ARE human that's one thing, but if they're a Thunderian..? I mean what if in an episode they named a character, say, Katy, like me? I'm mean it's just so out of place.
It's like, Lion-O, Cheetara, Tygra, Panthro, Katy... wait, what?

That's why when I make TC characters I usually base their names in some Latin word that is meaningful to them or I give them a name that is connected with their species. Or both, like Corvin, which is based off of "corvus" which is Latin for "crow" and also based off of "Corvidae" which is the name of the family of birds that Corvin's species is in.

Yeah, I can see that too, but not all of them had cat names. Claudus, Grune...Although Grune isn't even a human name -3- I mean it is different, but it's hard to some up with a cat like name for them, and one that isn't already taken :/

That makes sense to me. I usually find unique names too. Something different and just...beautiful. Although mine has nothing to do with her species, I just liked the name XD XD I mean it does seem kinda weird, but I just find it funny how people on DA here will harass others who do name their characters human names. Idk, I guess people on here find new things to bully about every day :/

Well Claudus is a pun on "claw"... Get it? XDDD
Yes, Grune is not specifically a cat based name, but it is not a typically human name. It's unique, so it works. Now for example, I have a snow leopard character name Rosetta, which is FAR more likely to be a human name, but it's still not a common one and it makes sense because the snow leopard is covered in rosette markings.

I guess ultimately I think people should put some thought into their character's name, especially when it comes to making characters from a race of alien animals. YOUR character's name has nothing to do with the species and isn't based in another language, but it's unique, like Grune. And that's fine. But why would you name an ALIEN ANIMAL something boring and normal like "Steve", or whatever? XD

Now it's fine to point this out to someone. It is legitimate critique (although you might want to word it nicer). But yes, I will agree that HARASSING a person for something stupid like that is silly and a waste of time.

Well, there's nothing wrong with the art by itself. Very clean, very dynamic.
I PERSONALLY have never been a big fan of the Sonic style of drawing were you give them much more human like proportions, but that's just me.
