Happy Early Easter everyone!!
I never get holiday art up on time, so this time I'm getting a jump on it. XD
This sketch turned out pretty cute, I'd say. I got keep perfecting my coloring though.
Speaking of coloring, I'm working on tweaking Ink's skin tone. Ink doesn't have red blood. It's her ink, which is black. So soon after I made her, I was all, "Aw, crud!! I'm making her skin too pink!!" So if you'll compare this to some of my earlier work of her, you'll notice her skin's a LOT paler.
I'm trying to tweak it slowly and carefully, though. For one, I don't want the changes to be jarring. Secondly, I'm trying to find just the right color. Thing is, Ink's a very warm, happy person. I want her to look like if she gave you a hug, It'd be nice and cuddly, not dead and clammy.
So anyway, Ink's back along with Ink Critter (the black thing in the basket). For those who don't remember, Ink's capable of creating semi-sentient creatures with her ink. Normally when I draw Ink Critter, he's got somewhat cat-like ears. But being made of ink, he's able to change shape, and gave himself bunny ears for Easter. X3
