Artist's Comments

She's also know as Seraph to her close friends.

Ain't she pretty?
Another member of my main Pokemon team.

If you couldn't tell from her eyes or the studded collar, Seraph has a bit of a hardcore personality (contasting with her heavenly nickname). But it's kind of a front she puts on for her own amusement.
In truth Seraphim is loyal, passionate, and kind right down to her firey heart.

Man, I love the name I picked for her (sorry, tooting my own horn here).

But it really fits her in every way.

Did you know that Seraphim is literally translated to "burning ones"?
How perfect is that?

I was thinking of putting shiny highlights in some places on her fur, but I REALLY didn't feel like it.
Maybe later.

LET ME KNOW YOU THINK OF HER!!! XD

:icongottadosomething:
Very Cute. :aww: I really like the pose, and the way it is showing all nine of her tails. True to character, this shows this Ninetales to be quite dignified. The fact that she is wearing a collar, yet still posing so sharply yet softly (especially from the look in her eye), shows that she is very self-confident, friendly, and proud of who she and her owner is. That actually is the type Ninetales are anyway (the type that are very proud, regal, and rewarding to those that treat them right).
The eye, especially with that black curl that gives it a kind of Egyptian/mystical effect, is very piercing yet soft. This indicates that she could have quite a background behind her. This also suggests that, like many other Ninetales, this one has high sharpness of thought and vision. That is, you can't hide anything from this pokemon. Since she seems to have an owner, and obviously does not mind wearing the collar, I'd imagine she would be quite helpful to her owner for this reason. The softness in her eyes hints that she could be quite caring.
The freeness of her hair and main is well represented and drawn in this picture (very convincing around the collar), in addition to her tails drawn in correct proportions and in a way that makes them look quite soft. The legs are also in good proportion, in addition to having a convincing and needed hardness to them that balances the softness of the hair, mane, and tails. The same goes for the back and snout. On the latter, it is drawn in just the right length, and the blackness of the nose, in proportion to its place with the black around the eye and the black collar, flows quite smoothly and adds a nice contrast and balance (in terms of color). The shoulder was also well drawn in proportion to the neck (I know this is not easy to do).
A comment is that the pose itself seems a bit stiff. It does not look like she is trying too hard to display herself, but she does look unable to relax for some reason, or holding back something. The collar additionally looks like it is a bit tight.
On a practical level, I gave originality three stars since there isn't that much being done differently in this pic as opposed to other representations.
All and all, you have a very cute pokemon here that has a strong visual foundation. Again, all I would suggest is to soften the pose a bit.
