Petalar OC - Kallista Age Chart

Here's the next part of the Petalar Project I'm doing with my friend, *Yoruhoshi.

This is my Age Chart that I made for my Petalar character, Kalista. You can read more about her, Petalars, and me and Yoru's little project here... [link]

So here we have Kallista's seed (baby), seedling (toddler), child, adolescent, adult, and elder forms.
(Remember people, that these guys only live for one day. So "adolescent" is actually about, eh... 5 hours old.)

- First two of course were tons of fun, they're just so cute!!
- Child form was also a blast to design. Little Kallista was a playful little thing. <3

- Then the adolescent one of course, which is the original form I drew her in. She met the love of her life, Fioré ([link]), at this point in her life.

- Then there's Kallista's adult form. Notice her peg leg on her left. Kallista got attacked by a predator as an adolescent, but managed to escape with Fioré.
Being a little plant person though, she, like all Petalars, is very delicate and part of her leg was torn off. Kallista has always been a little vain, and she was significantly upset at the disfigurement, thinking it made her less pretty along with obviously hampering her activity. But Fioré, being a craftsman (and an awesome boyfriend), made her a pretty little bejeweled prosthesis, which cheered her up considerably.

- Lastly there's Kallista's Elderly form. This one was both challenging and fun to draw. I'm happy with the result. She's such a cute little old lady. I gave her a little flower-cane to walk with. XD
Of course I'm sure there's actually a transition stage between this and the Adult form, but you don't see it in the show.

Can't wait to see Fioré's various forms, Yoru!! Kallista's excited too!! <3
